All activity for the BUNY program from October through April 1, including November enforcement, is to be reported on the HS9.doc Progress Report form and that is due to GTSC on April 15.

The May 2009 wave enforcement activity will be reported online.

Operation Safe Stop Education and Enforcement Day will be Tuesday, April 7th, 2009.

NYS Drug Evaluation & Classification Program

DRE Program Information:  About the Drug Recognition Expert program in New York, resources for DRE officers and trainers.

DRE Recertification Training

This is for certified DRE's only.

As specified in section III of the International Standards of the Drug Evaluation and Classification Program, all drug recognition experts must recertified every two years following original certification.

The New York Standards have added to section III that every DRE must attend eight hours of certified training every year. Certified training means training approved by the State Coordinators office.

Recertification sessions are listed on the DRE Training Page.
